Dear Sir / Madam
The Tamil speaking world knows well that the
International Tamil Integration Society came into
existence in the year 1977. Since then it has been
functioning in a grand manner to do the yeoman service to
propagate the glory of the classical tamil langauge and its
ethics. The soul behind this Organisation is Perungkavikko
Dr. Va.Mu. Sethuraman and his son Kavimurasu V.M.S.
Thiruvalluvar renders his valuable service.
The main purpose of this organisation is to pave the
way for many International scholars, Poets, Researchers
and people with different walks of life to exchange their
ideas and thoughts on Tamil culture and civilizations and
the unity of the Tamils including their progress.
The First International Tamil Integration Conference
was held at Trichy in 1985. The second International Tamil
Integration Conference was held at Chennai 1991. The
Third International Tamil Integration Conference was held
at Berlin, Germany, 1993. The Fourth International Tamil
Integration Conference held at Bangkok, Thailand in
1999. The Fifth International Tamil Integration Conference
was held at Madurai in 2002 as Silver Jubilee celebrations
of ITIS.

The Main focus of the forthcoming 6th World Tamil
Unity Confrerence which is going to be held at Kualalumpur,
Malasiya is to achive the object of “We are with the world
and the world is with us”.
We invite all the poets, scholars, learned people with
tamil spirit from all over the world to participate in the
conference and delegates and invitees are requested to
submit their research papers on the following topics.
i) The histroy of Ancient Classic Tamil Languages and
the ethics of sangam litreature.
ii) The development of Tamil Litreature that transcends
time
iii) The rise and fall of the world Tamils, now and then
iv) The problems and solutiions of the Tamils in the
world including the Tamils of Eelam
v) The development of Commerce and computer
technology of the world tamils.
We are pleased to announce that the 6th World Tamil
Unity Conference is going to be held with the blessings
of the Honourable Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Kalaingar
Dr. M. Karunanidhi

their own cost.

Major objectives of the Organisation:
1. To function as a forum for the unity of Tamils
living in different countries.
2. To inculcate the five basic qualities - Truth,
Self confidence, Hard work, Courage and
Determination to enjoy the fruits of our wellmeaning
efforts - (endeavour) - among Tamils.
3. To propagate and practice the love of Tamil
and Tamils and promote peace and harmony in
International relations and selfless service.
4. To send Tamil teachers to various countries
in order to teach Tamil language and culture
primarily to the children of Tamil families settled
abroad.
5. To ensure hospitality to Tamils settled abroad
when they visit Tamilnadu.
6. To send books and other related materials to
different countries for the propagation of Tamil
language and culture.
7. To strive for a special status for the Tamil
language at the international level which is long
pending.
8. To ensure unity of purpose among Tamil
scholars and Tamils around the world to help
realise the cherished objectives.
9. To develop an ideal relationship among the
Tamils of the world, honouring the distinguished
Tamils settled abroad; arranging for exchange
visits of Tamil scholars.
10. To establish an autonomous Headquarters
of the Society at Madras and regulate all its
activities; to collect all relevant information
about Tamils living in various countries - their
living conditions, educational facilities etc.,
and help them achieve a pride of place in their
chosen fields.
